Project Summary: <br /> <br />This project provides coordination between Reclamation and other <br />Program participants in developing and implementing Recovery Program <br />policies and procedures and general program oversight. Specific <br />objectives include administrative support and oversight for studies <br />funded or conducted by Reclamation, participation in technical <br />committees, and review of Recovery Program reports as needed, Program <br />management funds are not used to support a specific study or project, <br />Rather, they insure sound management and supervision of Recovery <br />Program studies funded or conducted by Reclamation. Program management <br />funds are used to: administer funding agreements; insure that <br />Reclamation's contributions to the Program are properly administered <br />and that funds are transferred to the Program participants in a timely <br />and efficient manner; and participate and serve on the various <br />technical committees. <br /> <br />IV, Study Schedule: Initial Year: 1988, Final Year: Ongoing. <br /> <br />V, Relationship to RIPRAP: General Recovery Program Support Action Plan, <br />VII. Provide Program Planning and Support. <br /> <br />VI, Accomplishment of FY 94 Tasks and Deliverables: <br /> <br />Reclamation representatives served on all Program committees. Major <br />committee and work group assignments were accomplished. Agreements and <br />contracts for which Reclamation had funding authority were successfully <br />executed. These included agreements with the Service, States of <br />Colorado and Utah, the Larval Fish Laboratory (Colorado State <br />University), University of California (UCLA), Arizona State University <br />(ASU) and Eastern Washington University, and the City of Craig, <br /> <br />VII, Recommendations: We recommend that Recovery Program Coordinators work <br />closely with the responsible contracting personnel in Reclamation as <br />new contracts or agreements are developed. This will ensure that <br />contracts and agreements are consistent with Recovery Program needs and <br />expectations. <br />
