videography study and resulting flow recommendations will be completed
sometime in 1995.

VII, Recommendations: The report for the videographyjhabitat mapping
portion of this study was originally intended to include results from
both the IS- and 18-mile reaches. Because of RIPRAP deadlines and the
schedule of the Colorado Water Conservation Board for filing for
IS-mile reach lnstream flow rights, the IS-mile reach portion was
broken out so that it could be finalized earlier. We recommend that
the 18-mile reach results be summarized in a separate report in 1995.
Analysis and interpretation of the data collected in the 18-mile reach
will benefit from comments received during the 1S-mile reach report
review process,

VIII, Project Status: As stated above, the report-writing phase of this
project is behind schedule but is progressing. No funding for 1994 or
1995 has been requested.

IX. FY 94 Budget:
A, Funds Provided: $ 0
B. Funds Expended: Other station funds.

X, Status of Data Submission: Data from this study will not be ready for
submission to the database manager until the completion of the project.

XI, Signed: Doug Osmundson, December 8, 1994.

APPENDIX:

Osmundson, D,B., and L, R, Kaeding. 1991, Recommendations for flows in
the IS-mile reach during October-June for maintenance and enhancement
of endangered fish populations in the upper Colorado River.
