Project Summary: Wyoming's Program Management project: 1) provides staff <br />assistance to the Implementation, Management and Biology Committees and to <br />the Service in implementing the Recovery Implementation Program; <br />2) provides appropriate participation by the State of Wyoming on technical <br />committees and subcommittees: and 3) provides management and coordination <br />between Wyoming and other participating entities. <br /> <br />IV, Study Schedule: Fiscal Year 1994 was the initial year that budgetary <br />constraints forced the State of Wyoming to submit a scope of work to get <br />credit for our involvement and participation in the Recovery <br />Implementation Program (rather than just contributing funds for specific <br />Recovery Program project (s) as we had done in the past). Wyomi ng will <br />continue to annually submit a scope of work to receive credit for our <br />parti ci pat i on in the Recovery Program, hence thi s Program Management <br />project will continue over the life of the Recovery Program. <br /> <br />V, Relationship to RIPRAP: Generally, Item VII (provide program planning and <br />support [program management]) and its components under the "General <br />Recovery Program Support Action Plan," Due to their length, no attempt is <br />made to list out the sub-element numerals and titles. <br /> <br />VI. Accomplishment of Fiscal Year 1994 Tasks and Deliverables, Discussion of <br />Initial Findings and Shortcomings: During the course of Fiscal Year 1994, <br />Mr, Shields was involved with each of the following activities. In some <br />instances, Tom Annear of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department also was <br />involved: ' <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Coordinated the State of Wyoming's participation in and positions on <br />Recovery Program activities, Advised Implementation Committee <br />member and other affected state agencies about the Program. <br /> <br />Represented the State of Wyomi ng at Bi 01 ogy Committee, technical <br />committees and subcommittee meetings. Attended meetings related to <br />the Recovery Program, associated with Wyoming's involvement, <br />includin9 public, annual research and ad-hoc group meetings. <br /> <br />Reviewed, edited and commented on many proposals, scopes-of-work, <br />annual reports, project reports, planning documents and <br />administrative records prepared by Recovery Program participants as <br />appropriate and necessary, <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Participated in the development of the annual Recovery Program <br />budget and work plan for the Implementation Committee. <br />
