The interim committee may consider, but need <br />not be limited to, the following: <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />(a) The management and development of surface water resources; <br /> <br />11 <br />12 <br /> <br />(b) ,The management and development of ground water (tributary <br />ananontributary) resources; <br /> <br />13 <br />14 <br /> <br />(c) The role of water transfers (both inter- and intra-basin) in <br />meeting Colorado's future water and storage needs; <br /> <br />(d) The recognition of adequate compensation to the basin of <br />origin in the matter of water transfers; <br /> <br />q~i1lp~I~~r!?~~X~~!~~1(S~1;'&~1il~!I!~~lw9ilir~;;~~'I~~~F <br />~i~~tBlllfi.llllrdlrr.I.I'i!?E~H~!~$ <br /> <br />(2) That, in conducting such study, the interim committee may <br />cotisult, as may be required, with appropriate local, state, and federal <br />agencies and interested members of the public, The study shall not <br />req~ire additional staff for any state agency or any additional <br />app'ropriation to any such state agency, <br /> <br />26 (3) That the Legislative Council shall report its findings and <br />27 recommendations to the 1998 Regular Session of the Sixty-first General <br />28 Assembly, <br /> <br />I <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br /> <br />(4) That all expenditures incurred in the conduct of the study <br />enui,nerated in this resolution shall be approved by the chairperson of the <br />Legislative Council and paid by vouchers and warrants drawn as provided <br />by law from funds allocated to the Legislative Council from <br />appropriations made by the General Assembly, <br /> <br /><.. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
