Barnett
Executive Director
Colorado River Basin
Salinity Control Forum
106 West 500 South, Suite 101
Bountiful, UT 84010

Dear Jack:

As a board, we have discussed the feasibility, benefits, and
possibili ties of the salinity program. We as a board, and as
members of the agricultural community, have seen overwhelming
support for the salinity program. We urge prompt implementation.

We see tremendous opportunity for the improvement of agricultural
practices and income. The only drawback we see at this time is the
fact that lining the main canals is not part of the plan. The
amount of salt reduced in the Colorado River would be very
significant, thereby benefitting both upper and lower drainage
states.

Perry Bunderson
c~an

\/#1-7 {]4t:,,4~

Hal A. temon
Secretary/Treasurer

~..
