<br />publication of a Federal Register notice announcing the proposed <br />rate and the consultation and comment period. This brochure is <br />being distributed along with that Federal Register notice. This <br />brochure provides additional information and discusses the <br />investments, revenues, expenses, and methodology used to develop <br />the proposed rate. <br /> <br />The public consultation and comment period began on the <br />publication date of the Federal Register notice and closes <br />February 9, 1990, 15 days after the public comment forum. During <br />this consultation and comment period, interested persons may <br />consult with and obtain information from Western represent- <br />atiyes. They may also examine data contained in the FY 1989 <br />Integrated Projects Preliminary PRS, as well as the FY 1989 CRSP, <br />RGP, and Collbran Preliminary PRSs. Copies of the PRS data and <br />other supporting material are available for public review in the <br />Salt Lake City Area Office, Western Area Power Administration, 257 <br />East 200 South, Suite 475, Salt Lake City, Utah 84111; and in the <br />Office of the Director of Marketing and Rates, Western Area Power <br />Administration, 1627 Cole Boulevard, Golden, Colorado 80401. <br /> <br />B. Public Information and Public Comment Forums. A public <br />information forum will be held November 21, 1989, at 8:30 a.m., at <br />the Red Lion Inn, 255 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. At <br />the public information forum, Western representatives will explain <br />the proposed rate and will answer questions. Questions that are <br />not answered at the public information forum will be answered in <br />writing at least 15 days before the end of the consultation and <br />comment period. The pUblic information forum will be recorded and <br />transcribed, and copies of the transcript will be available for <br />purchase from the firm providing the service. <br /> <br />A public comment forum will be held January 25, 1990, at <br />1:30 p.m., also at the Red Lion Inn, 255 South West Temple, Salt <br />Lake City, Utah. Interested persons may submit written or oral <br />comments at the public comment forum. Those wishing to make oral <br />comments at the public comment forum should submit a written <br />request to the Area Manager by January 15, 1990, so that a speaker <br />list can be developed. Time limits will be determined by the <br />number of speakers.
