Specific contributions can possibly be expected, from those above-men- <br />tioned participating groups. The project staff will suggest topic areas and <br />media outlet (technical publ ication or symposium) for disseminating these <br />special-topic reports. <br /> <br />Project Mi lestones <br /> <br />It is well understood that individuals and groups, both within and out- <br />side the U,S, Geological Survey, have vested interests in the successful ex- <br />ecution of the Yampa River basin~assessment project, Open communication with <br />all interested parties in the Yampa River basin will be maintained, <br /> <br />A steering committee has been formed to advise the project chief and <br />staff on the scope and objectives of the Yampa River basin assessment. The <br />committe.e has reviewed and commented on this work plan and it wi 11 advise the <br />project staff periodically in fiscal and programming matters affecting the <br />project, <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />Suggested points in time for evaluating progress of Phase I I of the <br />basin-assessment study are as follows: <br /> <br />1. November 1975--Review progress on first phase and on draft work plan <br />of project's second phase, <br /> <br />2. May 1976--Review draft Phase-I report, <br /> <br />3. August 1976--Review progress of second phase and detailed outl ine of <br />final assessment report, and <br /> <br />4.
