Recreation - In the absence of wilderness deslgnatfon. this area woul d contfnue to be managed for a prlml tive bad country recreational setting. No recreatton vehicle access is proposed. Little change Is expected In the current 20 RUDs of use. All 1I11derness Alternative - The entire gOO acres of Larson Creek WSA wou1 d be recommended for wilderness designation. Hlnera1 Resource De.ve10pment - Subject to valfd existing rights, all lands within gOO acres of the Larson Creek WSA would be wi thdrawn from approprl a tl on under the mining and mineral leasing laws. The northern and western boundary I s the 81 g 81 ue 1111 derness Area. The eastern boundary is a continuation of the boundary of the wll derness area. The southern boundary Is a legal subdivision line which parallels the current wilderness area boundary. This alternative would exclude an old vehicle way and abandoned cabins within the WSA.
