The right ,.)f way follows along the southerly <br /> <br />side of the channel to a point approximatcly 2-1/4 miles east of the extreme west <br /> <br />boundary of the fce taking-. From this point westward the railroad righl of way <br /> <br />lies outside the proposed fee taking and flood easement. <br /> <br />The existing route of U. S. Hir;hway 34 lies partially within the proposed <br /> <br />fee taking and flood easement. This highway right of way crosses the southerly <br /> <br />portion of the dam sitc arC:l and proceeds in a generally west and northerly <br /> <br />direction in and out of the boundary of the proposed fee taking to a point approxi- <br /> <br />mately 1 mile east of the Town of Kersey. There are comparatively few county <br /> <br />rQads in the proposed rescrvoir arca. <br /> <br />A levee approximatcly 2-1/4 miles in length has bcen constructed along <br /> <br />. the northerly side of th~ rivcr channel. The easterly terminus of this levee lies <br /> <br />approximately 1 mile to the west of the proposed dam site. <br /> <br />Exhibits <br /> <br />Attention is invited to the map of the area submitted as a part of this <br /> <br />report. This map indicates the proposed dam site, area of fee taking for the <br /> <br />>, <br /> <br />reservoir, proposed flood easemcnt area and areas subject to severance damages. <br /> <br />An additional map indicates the location of the dry holes in relation to the <br /> <br />proposed reservoir site. <br /> <br />. <br />
