In accordance with Article vln E (I), the amount of such
budget payable by the State of Colorado is sixty percent thereof,
or $4,332,00, and the amount payable by the State of Kansas
is forty percent thereof, or $2,833.00.

the receipts and disbursements of the Administration have been
audited for the period commencing November J, 1963 through
October 31. 19M, the end of the Report.ye.r. The report of
such audit is hereto attached as Appendix "A",

6. Cooperative Studies and Activities

(a) Article VlII G (1) of the Arkansas River Comp.ct requires
the Administration to cooperate with the Chief Official of
each of the States of Colorado and Kansas charged with the
.1dministr<ltion of water rights in their r~pcctive States, and
with the Federal 3gcnci~s in systematically determining and
corrdating the facts pert.lining to the flCM' and diversion of
the waters of the Arkansas River and to the operation and
siltation of John Martin Reservoir and other related structures.
Article VlII G (2) requests the Director of the United States
Geologic:al Survey, the Commissioner of the United St~l.tes Bu-
reau of Reclamation, and the Chief of Engineers, United States
Army, to coopera.te and collaborate with the Administration
and with appropriate State officials in such determinations Jnd
