Results

For the 15 Mile Reach, Reach 3 (GVIC diversion dam to the Gunnison River confluence), the
physical water availability at the top of the reach were computed by taking the Reach 2 available
flows and subtracting GVIC diversions. Estimated hydropower returns from the GVP and, OMID
pump station returns were added on. Physical water availability at the bottom of Reach 3 is believed
to be 200 cfs to 300 cfs higher at the top of the reach based on work the Service has done on
quantifying accretions in the reach I.

Table 3 gives the recorded and generated flows in cfs at the top of the 15 Mile Reach. Table 4 gives
the flows in cfs at the top of the 15 Mile Reach after adjustments have been made to Table 3 to
reflect the current level of depletions. Flow duration curves for the top of the 15 Mile Reach based
on adjusted flows are included in Figures 3 to 14.

1 June 29, 1994, LRCWE Report "Palisade/Grand Junction Stream Flow Analyses Update for 1993 Dala

\I
