S. Water Resources Council. <br /> <br />WHAT THE STUDY REPORT SHOULD SHOW <br /> <br />The study report on the Dolores River will show, among other things: <br /> <br />The area included within the report; <br /> <br />'The characteristics which do or do not make the area a worthy <br />addition to the National Wild and Scenic River System; <br /> <br />..The current status of land ownership and use in the area; <br /> <br />The reasonably foreseeable potential uses of the land and water <br />which would be enhanced, foreclosed, or curtailed if the area <br />were included in the system; <br /> <br />The Federal agency (or agencies) by which it is proposed the area, <br />should it be added to the system, be administered; <br /> <br />The extent to which it proposed that such administration, including <br />the cost thereof, be shared by State and local agencies; <br /> <br />The estimated cost to the United States of acquiring necessary lands <br />and interests in lands and of sdministering the area, should it be <br />added to the system. <br /> <br />We look forward to your involvement as the study progresses. In view of <br />the time limit and nature of the study, early public involvement is <br />essential to the completion of this effort.
