(Examples: alternative uses of water; <br />upland erosion and sediment control; reevaluation of an <br />authorized project, EPA Section 208 studies). <br /> <br />Reconnaissance level evaluations of water and related land <br />resources for a selected region or river basin. (Examples: <br />Framework Studies; Regional or River Basin level B Studies; <br />Subregional analyses; and others). <br /> <br />Preliminary or detailed investigations of the feasibility <br />of a program or project or the design. (Examples: review <br />or survey reports. feasibility studies, resource evaluations). <br /> <br />Actual construction of authorized projects or implementation <br />of authorized programs. (Examples: P.L. 566, assistance in <br />coordination, Fish and Wildlife Research programs). <br /> <br />To obtain a true portrait of the program funding reported by each State <br /> <br />and Federal agency and included in this report, one must study the program <br /> <br />information records, which list the individual programs by State and Federal <br /> <br />agency. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />v <br />
