<br />Compact and the orders of the Administration, A new area
<br />capacity table for John Martin Reservoir was issued by the Anny
<br />Corps of Engineers and put into effeet August 12, 1OO\.

<br />8, Water Supply, Reservoir Operations and Hydrologic Data
<br />The 1986 Arkansas River Compact year and the winter storage season
<br />for John Martin Reservoir began at 0001 hour November I, 1965, with
<br />280,952,00 acre-feet in the reservoir distributed as follows:

<br />Winter Storage ended al 2400 hour on March 31, 1986, with a total of

<br />Reservoir, Water was distributed to the accounts pursuant to that
<br />operating plan as follows:

<br />This year marked the first time that the State of Kansas had called for
<br />releases lrom their account during a winter storage period, The Kansas
<br />release began March 21, 1986, at 2200 hours continuing through the end of
<br />the winter storage season and on through April 25, 1986, The total release
<br />made to Kansas through the end of the winter storage season at 2400
<br />hours on March 31, 1986, was 10,18\.97 acre-feel. Releases Crom Colorado
<br />Accounts during the Winter Storage Season totalled 19,14S,19 acre-feel.
