<br />(5) On Devil Creek, the Tribe received a reserved water right with an 1868 <br /> <br />priority date subordinated to all rights with an adjudication date prior to 1976 for direct flow <br /> <br />Ji vcr:siuns uf i 83 AF per year. <br /> <br />(6) On the San Juan River, the Tribe received a reserved water right with an 1868 <br /> <br />priority date for direct flow diversion of 1,530 AF per year. <br /> <br />(7) On Round Meadow Creek, the Tribe received a reserved water right with an <br /> <br />1868 priority date for direct flow diversions of 975 AF per year. <br /> <br />(8) On Cat Creek, the Tribe received a reserved water right with an 1868 priority <br /> <br />date for direct flow diversions of l, 372 AF per year (Reclamation. 2000a. p 4-17). <br /> <br />The Ute Mountain Ute Tribe received the following water rights: <br /> <br />(l) On the Mancos River, the Tribe received a reserved water right for direct now <br /> <br />diversions and/or storage of 21 ,000 AF per year. This right has an 1868 priority date but shall be <br /> <br />subordinated to all rights with an adjudication date prior to 1985. <br /> <br />(2) On the Navajo Wash, the Tribe received a reserved water right for direct flow <br /> <br />di versions of 4,800 AF per year. This right has an 1868 priority date but shall be subordinated to <br /> <br />all rights with an adjudication date prior to 1985. <br /> <br />(3) On the mainstem of the San Juan River, the Tribe received a reserved water <br /> <br />right for direct flow diversions of 1,600 AF year (Reclamation, 2000a, p 4-17). <br /> <br />In 1988, Congress incorporated the ALP Project into the Colorado Ute Water Settlement <br /> <br />Act. The Settlement Act, partially implemented through the Dolores Project (McPhee <br /> <br />. . <br />Reservoir), brought irrigation and drinking water to the Ute Mountain Ute reservation and <br /> <br />expanded farm and ranching capabilities.
