The City of <br /> <br />Rifle is proposed as contractor for repayment of the cost of 1,000 acre- <br /> <br />feet of water as suggested for purchase by the city. It would be ex- <br /> <br />pected that the Farmer's Irrigation Company and the City of Rifle would <br /> <br />jointly operate and maintain the Rifle Gap Reservoir with attaching <br /> <br /> <br />cost prorated on the basis of water equity 'purchase, 8/9 to the irrigation <br /> <br />company and 1/9 to the city.
