Several water policy issue <br />studies are being conducted by the Natural Resources Commission under the Slate Water Planning and <br />Review Process. This report addresses riparian rights to use surface water and how those rights relate to <br />appropriative rights. <br />The base document lor this report was prepared primarily by J. David Aiken, Water Law Specialist. <br />University of Nebraska. with the assistance of an interagency task force.
