<br />'03J422 <br /> <br />Discussions by the Task Force have often focused on the <br />need for better information on the magnitude of risk in the <br />region and in different communities. It was felt that a <br />comprehensive inventory of populations and structures in <br />the various flood plains was needed to apportion warning <br />system costs and to better plan warning and response <br />strategies. Responding to this need, CCDD initiated (at <br />its own expense) such a survey of all streams <br />within the warning system planning area defined by the Task <br />Force. <br /> <br />2 <br />
