desirable nllmmum of 200 c. f. s. for downstream quality control below Heart
Mountain Powerplant. After April, releases for downstream irrigation require-
ments would allow maximum storage of 405,000 acre-feet by the end of June.
End-of-water year storage of 239,000 acre-feet would be 79 percent of normal.

Power Production

With reasonable minimum water supply, the Western Division System would pro-
duce 103 gigawatt hours less energy than forecast for the most probable plan.
Additional import of 531 gigawatt hours would be required from the l'-SMBP
Eastern Di,'ision System to meet the estimated Western Division System power
load.

Green Mountain

~);'/)

Releases from Green Mountain powerplant for replacement, power, and river and
reservoir regulation would reduce reservoir storage to the minimum desirable
content of 40,000 acre-feet by April 30. Releases for power production during
May, June, and July would be varied as required to allow reservoir fill without
spill or powerplant bypass by the end of July. Thereafter, Green Mountain Res-
ervoir would remain full for the remainder of the wateryear. Anticipated diver-
sion of 38,000 acre-feet from the Blue River by the cities of Denver and Colorado
Springs would cause 8.0 gigawatt hours of power interference to Green Mountain
Powerplant.

Willow Creek

As with the normal and minimum plan, Willow Creek Reservoir would provide a
constant release of 7 c. f. s. through March to enhance fishery flows in the Colo-
rado River. With no Willow Creek water pumped to Lake Granby, maximum
inflows would fiB Lake Granby to capacity by June 30 and 58,000 acre-feet more
than irrigation needs would be released to willow Creek during the April-July
period.

G ranby

Storage in Lake Granby would reach a low point of 426,000 acre-feet (Elevation
8,263) at the end of February. Thereafter, Granby storage would refill to capa-
city (539,800 acre-feet - Elevation 8,280) and remain nearly full for the remainder
