Evaporation losses on the Rio Grande <br />Compact credit water for the States of Colorado and New Mexico in Elephant Butte <br />Reservoir storage and the amount of credit water spilled are presented on page 38 of <br />the supporting tables. <br /> <br />Summarv of San Juan-Chama Water Storaqe <br /> <br />The end-of-month storage status of SJ-C water in all reservoirs, except Heron <br />Reservoir, and the accumulated sediment deposition adjustments for Abiquiu <br />Reservoir, Cochiti Lake, and Jemez Canyon Reservoir are illustrated in Tables 11 A, <br />11 B, and 11 C as well as the reference table (pages 11-13 and 44). <br /> <br />Evaporation Loss on Rio Grande Water Stored Above Otowi <br /> <br />The evaporation loss on Rio Grande water stored in EI Vado and Abiquiu Reservoirs <br />is illustrated in Table 12 (page 14). There was no debit water held in EI Vado <br />Reservoir during 1994, because the State of New Mexico entered 1994 with an <br />accrued credit according to the Rio Grande Compact. <br /> <br />SAN LUIS VALLEY PROJECT <br /> <br />Closed Basin Division <br /> <br />Reclamation working under the guidance of the Closed Basin Operating Committee <br />has developed a working draft of the operating criteria which is the framework for the <br />management of Closed Basin operations and water deliveries. The groundwater <br />analyses, water accounting, and water quality monitoring functions will continue to <br />be performed by Reclamation personnel while civil maintenance functions are being <br />contracted to the Rio Grande Water Conservancy District. <br /> <br />A total of 24,330 AF of project water was delivered to various points of which <br />18,250 AF was creditable deliveries to the Rio Grande pursuant to the Rio Grande <br />Compact. A total of 11 AF as measured at the Station 281 + 00 Parshall Flume was <br />not creditable at the Lobatos Gage. Table 13 (page 15) summarizes the 1994 <br />operations of the project. <br /> <br />vi <br />
