Dear Chairman Morton:

It is with great pleasure that I submit the
attached report of the Standing State Advisory Committee
of the Water Resources Council. The report preparation
was directed by Mr. C. H. McConnell, ICWP Second Vice-
Chairman and Chairman of the IcwP Policy Committee.

The Interstate Conference on Water Problems has
been privileged to assist the Water Resources Council in
its deliberations for the past lS l/2 months through its
Executive Committee acting as the Standing state Advisory
Committee.

A number of accomplishments are noted in the report.
Of particular importance are:

l. An increased schedule of meetings, seminars
and conferences sponsored by ICWP, or
jointly sponsored by ICWP and WRC.

2. The review of WRC "Proposed Principles and
Standards for Water and related Land
Resource Planning and Development".

3. Enlarged program of services and activities
for ICWP membership including increased
communications to all ICWP members regarding
proposed legislative developments.

ICWP recommends that the agreement between itself
and WRC creating the SSAC be renewed for another two
(2) year period with the following adjustments:
