It would seem that a fair inference to be drawn would be that the <br /> <br />Senate accepted the pasition af the praponents af the treaty on the quality <br /> <br />questian. <br /> <br />As a final nate an this question we wauld call attention to. Senate <br /> <br />Document 247, 79th Cangress, 2d Session. This was "A Report to the Colarado <br /> <br />River Water Users' Assaciation" by Narthcutt Ely. Mr. Ely here discussed <br /> <br />same af the alleged conflicts between the United States position and the <br /> <br />Mexican position an interpretation af the treaty. Beginning an page 12 the report <br /> <br />sets forth the United States position on the quality questian as presented by <br /> <br />Mr. Tiptan at pages '322 ~ 338, 341,342-343 of the Hearings.
