This water <br />supply ranges from a minor supplemental supply for some entities to a <br />complete supply for others. <br /> <br />During 1965 approximately 1,232,000 acre-feet of Colorado River <br />water was supplied to incorporated areas and other communities prima- <br />rily for municipal and industrial purposes. This water supply served <br />a population of about 9,724,000 people. <br />
