00441 GCD AMP Technical Work Group Current Action Items (P:\amp\twg\new action ilems.doc) .ated: 6/10105: Date 3/30/04 2 3/30/04 Item The T1NG will send additional comments on lhe T1NG Operating Procedures to the T1NG Chair with a cc to Linda by 4/14/04, Further discussion will be held at a future T1NG meelin Mary Barger will provide updates on the HBC Genetics Management Plan at upcoming T1NG meetings. Ted Melis will endeavor to provide copies of the HBC 3 3/30/04 Genetics report being done by Mike and Marlis Douglas, GCMRC will provide copies of the draft report by 7/31/04, or sooner, in order lo present to the AMWG al their August 2004 meeting. Ted Melis will endeavor to provide copies of the Feasibility 3/30/04 Assessment on Augmentation and Refugia and provide copies of the report to the T1NG upon complelion, and to the AMWG for lheir August 2004 meeting. 5 5/3/04 Dennis Kubly will confer with the Secretary's Designee (Mike Gabaldon) on the projects T1NG approved for deferral from FY04 to FY05 per GCMRC's recommendations to see how they should be handled, Status Comments received. Not currently scheduled for further discussion; TWG Chair on when to do so. 6/30/04: Bob Mulh says it's a work in progress, It's on their schedule but no time frame -7 probably in 6 months. 9/27/04: Norm reported lhat Bob Muth said they are planning to complete the report by the end of the calendar year. 2/3105: Gary Burton reported that FWS (Muth & Czapla) has been lied up with GCT lawsuit so work on the Plan has been delayed. 6/21/05: Glen Knowles will incorporale in his resentation toda 6/30/04 : Ted is hopeful they will have a draft by July, They will send il out for review and then share it wilh the TWG. 9/27/04: Barbara Ralston the Douglas project is scheduled for completion in December with a final reporl by Jan 2005. 2/3/05: Ted said lhe Douglases have requested a one-time, non-funded exlension lo com lete lhe re art. 5/3/04: Bruce Taubert indicated on lhe SA's river trip lhat he would be willing lo provide money to conduct a feasibility assessment for grow-out ponds in terraces above the Little Colorado River. Bill Persons will get an official statement from Bruce on what he commilted to do and report back at the next meeting. 6/30/04: Barbara Ralston has been working on getling a revised version of the report ASAP or hopefully earlier than the genetics plan . Ted will send an expected date to the T1NG. 9/27/04: Ted distributed a copy of the final report. A presenlation will be made by Sam Spiller at tomorrow's meeting, Bill Persons provided a copy of an e-mail message from Bruce. Bruce "agreed to conduct an evaluation of Ihe hatcheries to determine which ones, if any, met the diclates that the Service set out in their document." 6/30/04: Dennis spoke with Mike. The vote on deferrals was unclear. Mike wants to know what the vote was. Mike would like the TWG to discuss further, 9/27/04: Dennis said this issue wasn't put on the next AMWG agenda.
