<br />gaging stations and the analysis and compilaton of the <br />hydrologic data presented in this report and used in the ad- <br />ministration of the Compact. <br />(c) The Corps of Engineers conlinued to operate the conservation <br />pool of John Martin Reservoir in accordance with the terms of <br />the Compact and the orders of the Administration. A new area <br />capacity table. for John Martin Reservoir was issued by the <br />Army Corps 'of Engineers and put into effect August 12, 198t. <br /> <br />8. Water Supply, Reservoir Operations and Hydrologic Data: <br />The 198.1 Arkansas River Compact year and the winter storage <br />season for John Marlin Reservoir began at 0001 hours November I, <br />1982 with 12,241.0 acre-feet in the reservoir distributed as follows: <br />Agreement Accounts ~ 8,B66.8 a.f. <br />Permanent Pool ~ 3,3'74.2 a.f. <br />Winter Storage ended at 1636 hours on May 18, 1983 with a total of <br />114,516.47 a.f. stored during this period in the following accounts: <br />Compact Water .. 90,539.47 a.f. <br />Amity Winter Water 23,9'77.00 a.f. . <br />Following the transfer of the stored inflows to John Martin <br />Reservoir into the agreement accounts in accordance with the <br />operating Plan, adopted April 24, 1980, the allocation of the reservoir <br />~nlenllnlt2400 hours May 18, 1983 were as follows: <br />Agreement Accounts" 91,661.95 a.f." <br />CompactWaler 0 a.f. <br />Amity Winter Water 0 a.f. <br />Permanent Pool 3,006.42 a.f. <br /> <br />94,668.3'7 a.f. <br />Summer storage period began at 1636 hours May 18, 1983. At that <br />time the Conservation Pool was empty. During the summer season <br />inflow to the Conservation Pooltot8lled 210,438.72 a.f. This total, minus <br />~vaporation losses, was all released into accounts in accordance with <br />the Operating Plan, adopted April 24, 1980. The Conservation Pool was <br />empty at 2400 hours, October 31, 1983. The .summer operations of the <br />Conservation Pool are tabulated as follows: <br /> <br />Contents, A.F.
