<br /> <br />GUY E. GIBSON <br /> <br />Mr. Guy E. Gibson retired on August 23, 1983, after serving as a <br />representative of the State of Kansas on lhe Arkansas River Compact <br />Administration since I CJl2 and as Chief Engineer Director. Division of <br />Water Resources Kansas State Board of Agriculture. <br />Mr. Gibson served in World War II as First Lieutenant, U.S. Air <br />Force Pilot and Engineer in charge of building and grounds at air base <br />in China; Distinguished Flying Cross,.Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster. <br />three battle stars, theatre ribbons and received the British R.A.F. <br />Wings as a pilot. <br />His many years of outstanding contribution to the Arkansas River <br />Compact Administration have been appreciated by both Kansas and <br />Colorado. <br />This appreciation has been expressed in a resolution adopted by the <br />Administration at its Special Meeting on March 25. 1983. <br /> <br />11 <br />
