This is the first set of maps in a series of six
reach maps that describe the hydrogeologic characteristics of the
valley-fill aquifer of the South Platte River valley in Colorado from
north of Denver to the Colorado-Nebraska State line.

This map report describes the hydrogeologic characteristics of the
valley-fill aquifer in a 25-mile reach of the South Platte River valley
in Adams and Weld Counties, northeastern Colorado. The maps are at a
scale of 1:62,500 and show location of wells, bedrock configuration,
water-table contours, saturated thickness, transmissivity, and stream-
depletion factor of the valley-fill aquifer in the Brighton reach of
the South Platte River valley.

Sincerely yours,

,
,
\

2,~~l-v

James E.
