The following parameters will be used in the Lower Gunnison <br />Salinity Project Area for determining the need for modification <br />of a salinity contract due to price of unit changes only. <br />(1/9/92) <br /> <br />A. written notification from the DC to the COC will be <br />required for estimated increases in the range of <br />$1,000 to $5,000 per CIN. <br /> <br />B. Increases or decreases of greater than $5,000 wil+ <br />require contract modifications. <br /> <br />2. A Salinity Reduction Plan can be approved for only the <br />identified 'high priority areas. Plans directed at wildlife or <br />wetland habitat improvement only can exist outside high priority <br />areas but within project boundaries. (4/4/91) <br /> <br />3. Ponds constructed for dual purposes can be cost shared as <br />long as no additional costs are incurred over primary purpose,. <br />(4/4/91) <br /> <br /> <br />~~~ Wildlife practices agreed to in the original CPO must be kept <br />~ the salinity control plan and the participant will be <br />obligated to complete the original plan. Failure,to perform <br />tilese wildlife practices will result in noncompliance unless it <br />is determined by the reviewing authority that there are valid <br />technical reasons for non-performance.
