It was indicated that <br />greenback cutthroat trout may be introduced, but there were none at the present time, <br />This watershed at the QP is very small (about 4 sq,mi,), and USFS has agreed to consider <br />further whether or not it is worth keeping this QP, <br /> <br />There is \1;0 ga&e on Adobe Creek. <br /> <br />Oak Creek <br />USFS claim dropped <br /> <br />Middle Creek <br />QP at sec 6 - 23S - 68W; 100 yards upstream ofthe Beulah Water Works diversion <br />Amount: The cW'CB flow recommendation for a base flow of2,75 cfs from October 16 <br />to April 15, and 5.0 cfs from April 16 to October 15, is acceptable and needed for fish <br />purposes, A considerable amount of upstream development exists in this basin and it <br />may be difficult to obtain an instream flow based on water availability, <br /> <br />There is no "'""e on Middle Creek. <br /> <br />Ophir Creek <br />QP at sec 9 - 23S - 69W; at confluence with Middle Creek <br />Amount: The existing CWCB insp-eam flow of 1.5 cfs year-round is acceptable and <br />required at the QP for fish purposes. <br />There is 1JWiille on Ophir Creek. <br /> <br />St. Charles River <br />New QP at sec 12 - 24S - 69W; at the inlet to Lake Isabel <br />Amount: The QP will be moved upstream to the Lake San Isabel inlet to ,help water <br />users, Apase,flowpf3,5 cfs from October 16 to April 15, and 5.75 cfs from April 16 to <br />October IS, is acceptable and needed for fish purposes, This new computation differs <br />from the existing CWCB year-round flow of 3,0 cfs, The CDOW revised the <br />recommendations at the QP, utilizing the current criteria and the reduced size ofthe <br />watershed at the new QP, <br /> <br /> <br />The--.on St. Charles River (period of record 1937 - 1941; drainage area of 16,0 ~ ' <br />square miles; elevation at 8,590 feet) indicates that the CWCB flow recommendation of vt7' <br />3,5 cfs from October 16 to April 15 is met 20% of the time in October, and November, / 'Y <br />I % of the time in December, and 0% of the time January to March.
