OOCC.34

,

.,

.

13

~~

The Amity began to fall belowits decree cf 2/21/87 for 283 s.f.
at 10l'N 8/3. The corresponding; diversion hour at' the Ft. Lyon
Cnnal was 9MI 8/2. At this time (9Al1 8/2) the Ft. Lyon was di-
verting (about 300 s.f.) on its 3/1187 decree. The Ft. Lyon
continued tc divert on this seccnd deoree (2/21/87> for the
next. liB hours, or unt.il 9MI 8/4, at which time t.hel started
sluicing. The sluicing was continued until 6AH 8/5. at which
time they turned in again on their first decree for 165 s.f.

The Amity continued short of its 2/21/87 decree for 283 s.f. for
the period (10Pft 8/3 - lOPN 8/5), whioh period corresponds to
that period during; whi oh the Ft. Lyon was di verting on its 3/1/87
decree.

Corresponding diversion peri~dsl

F"t. Lyon - 9Al1 8/2 - 911l"1 8/4 - 4B hOUrs.
Amity - lOPlI 8/3 -10PH 8/5 - 4B hours.

During the above described period the Ft. Lyon diverted a total
of 453 A.F. Which BlIIount should have been made available to the
Amity during the corresponding period.

During the first 39 hours of the above period the Ft. Lyon was
diverting above the first decree (Of 165 s.f.) by a sufficiently
wide margin to make up the entire amoUlrl; the Amity was short.
But for the last 9 hours of the period the shortage of the .'.mity
was greater than that amount a.bove 165 s.f. being diverted by the
F"t. l.jyon. Therefore, at 2P1'1 8/5. the Amity was eligible to
receive that water, or a portion of that water, being diverted,
or wdoh had been diverted by tb;> Oxford Canal from that hour
at the Oxford Canal which corresponds to 2PH 8/5 at the .Amity.
The ccrresponding hour at the Oxford Canal was 2M! 8/3. At this
time the Oxford Canal was diverting 81 s.f. in its 2/26/87 deoree,
which is junior to the Amity's 2/21/87 decree.

The following data indicates the relation between the diversions
of the .Amity, the Oxford and the Ft. Lyons
