<br />OOlJ93 <br /> <br />It has been estimated that a flow rate in the 15-Jvlile Reach between 12,900 cfs and 26,000 cfs will <br />mobilize gravel/cobble substrates, and create and maintain fish habitat. A CFOPS releases would <br />occur at a rate of 1,000 cfs for a 10 day period, when stream flow of the Colorado River at the 15- <br />Mile Reach is between 12,900 cfs and 26,000 cfs. Historical records reflect that these conditions <br />occurred in late Mayor early June in about half of the years from 1947 to 2003. <br /> <br />2.3 Scope of Study <br /> <br />East Slope and West Slope water users have been independently evaluating permanent sources of <br /> <br /> <br />supply for the Recovery Program. The objective of this report is to summarize and compare <br /> <br /> <br />information related to five known alternatives that are currently under consideration: <br /> <br />.
