The Floodway elevation assumes full <br />encroachment of the Floodway Fringe. The following <br />provisions apply: <br /> <br />(A) Fill, permanent structures or buildings, including <br />residential structures, may be placed or erected in <br />the Floodway Fringe, provided, in the case of <br />buildings, that the elevation of the lowest <br />floor (including basements) is at least one foot ..L,..- <br />above the Floodway elevation. <br /> <br />(B) Land may be filled, provided the top of the fill <br />shall at no point be below the Floodway elevation <br />for at least twenty-five feet beyond the limits of ~ <br />any structure erected or placed thereon and that <br />the placement of the fill meets the fill compaction <br />criteria of Part 65.5 of the National Flood <br />Insurance Program Regulations. <br /> <br />Flood-Related Erosion-Prone Areas of the Colorado River <br /> <br />(A) <br /> <br />The Flood plain Administrator shall require permits <br />for proposed construction and other development q~ <br />within the Floodway Fringe area of the Colorado <br />River. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />II 1-6 <br />
