-I'
. /

;/

reservoir rights (.rer) file. It will be the modelers' responsibility to divide the single
node into appropriate subnodes.
3. Update the documentation associated with the smlocate, makenet, and watright
utilities.

Deliverable:

· Enhanced version of the makenet utility capable of representing an aggregate reservoir
node.
· Enhanced version of the watright utility capable of performing aggregation of reservoir
storage water rights similar to the aggregation of diversion structures. However, all
reservoirs not explicitly modeled will be aggregated to a single node. The resulting
reservoir data will be written to the reservoir station (.res) and rights (.ITs) files.
· Updated on-line documentation for the smlocate, makenet, and watright utilities
consisting of updated man pages and HTML files.

3.07 ModifY the StatcMod Gill to support instream flow nodes as an upper and lower terminus
for the right and plot only the upstream terminus.

Objective:

ModifY the StateMod GUI to display instream flow spreadsheet information as an upper and
lower terminus for the right and display only the upper terminus.

Approach:

~

The modified StateMod instream flow station file is the same as the Phase II file
except that an optional downstream terminus for the right is allowed for each instream
flow right. RTi will update the StateMod Gill interface to accurately display the new
, file. The Gill will continue to plot the instream flow rights as points (upper terminus
\jlabeled with the right identifier). Update the StateMod GUI add/delete functionality
to handle the two-node implementation of instream flows.
2. Update the StateMod Gill documentation to reflect software changes.

Deliverables:

Ii
{
I

· A version of the StateMod GUI capable of displaying and editing instream flow
information that is stored in the stream reach terminus fashion. Only the upstream
terminus will be plotted on maps.
· Updated on-line documentation for the StateMod Gill consisting of an updated man
page and HTML files. Because the hard-copy manual will be updated as part of other
Year III activities, no regeneration of hard-copy manuals is expected here.
