Software Development for Year 3 Basin Enhancement <br /> <br />2nd Draft - to be reviewed by State <br /> <br />Objective: <br /> <br />The RTi software development group lead by Steve Malers will perform the <br />enhancement of the existing CRDSS utilities to facilitate the water resources <br />modeling groups efforts in enhancing the CRDSS water resource planning models <br />to account for 100 % of the water use in the basin. Software enhancements will be <br />directly as a result of the needs of the water resources planning model group. <br />Software enhancements scope and schedule are designed to facilitate work on the <br />White River Basin, but enhancements are envisioned, where possible to do so, for <br />all the basins. <br /> <br />Approach: All subtasks within the software development task will be accomplished by the <br />following (it is anticipated that Boyle Engineering will have no responsibilities): <br /> <br />· Steve Malers <br />· Catherine Nutting <br />· Matt Rutherford <br /> <br />Subtasks: <br />1. Update the makenet utility to add aggregate diversion station nodes. <br />2. Update the watright utility to produce cumulative absolute water rights versus admin <br />number plots and reports. <br />3. ModifY the watright utility to produce diversion station and diviersion rights files that <br />have aggregated structures and water rights. <br />4. Update the demandts utility to compute efficiencies for aggregated structures. <br />5. Update the demandts utility to estimate aggregated structure historic diversions and <br />headgate demands. <br />6. Update the watright utility to aggregate reservoir water rights. <br />7. ModifY the StateMod Gill to display instream flow spreadsheet information as an <br />upper and lower terminus for the right and plot only the upstream terminus. <br /> <br />3.0 Phase III Software Enhancements to Support Year 3 Water Resources Planning Models <br /> <br />3.01 - Update the makenet u 'lity to add aggregate diversion station nodes <br /> <br /> <br />Objective: <br /> <br />Modify the Phase II makenet utilit to allow processing of aggregate diversion structures, each of <br />which may have the water rights of tenon-aggregated structures. <br /> <br /> <br />Approach: <br /> <br />0068 <br /> <br />1 <br />
