<br />Following comple\i,on of Reclamation's Section 7 responsibilities associated with the above
<br />evaluation, additional Section 7 consultations that may be necessary in the future on existing

<br />2,5.3 Nebraska Public Power District/Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District
<br />Consultation
<br />
<br />Pending before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) are the relicensing of two
<br />existing projects on the Platte River system in Nebraska. One is an application by Central
<br />Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District (CNPPID) for a new license for the Kingsley Dam
<br />, ' ,

<br />Project (FERC No. 1417). The second application '!Vas filed by Nebraska Public Power I:!istrict

<br />(NPPD) for the North PlattelKeystone Diversion Dam Project (FERC No. 1835). The two
<br />projects are jointly operated by the Districts for irrigation and power production and are being
<br />reviewed jointly by FERC.
