This capacity is relatively <br /> <br />new, but low in cost. Projections are for strong, stable growth <br /> <br />in electric sales. Furthermore, the association's management, has <br /> <br />determined that little or no new capacity will be necessary until <br /> <br />the 1990s." <br /> <br />Krumins said that, as a result of stabilization of costs <br /> <br />and increasing productivity, Colorado-Ute has determined that no <br /> <br />wholesale power rate increases will be needed at least through <br /> <br />1984. <br /> <br />"And indications are that we could continue this rate <br /> <br />freeze through the end of this decade, provided there are no <br /> <br />volatile swings in the economy." <br /> <br />--30-- <br /> <br />
