Under Legal Notices Section of Newspaper: <br /> <br />Request for Statements of Qualifications <br /> <br />The Colorado Department of Natural Resources is currently seeking Statements of Qualifications <br />(SOQ) frO!l1 interested firm(s) for water resource system modeling and water righis engineering <br />associated with the third year of development of the Colorado River Decision Support System <br />(CROSS). It is envisioned that the selected firm(s) would join existing members of the CROSS <br />consulting team and perform the primary enhancement and application of previously developed <br />water resource planning models of west slope basins and guide the development of a water rights <br />administration component of CROSS. <br /> <br />Statements of qualifications are being solicited from organizations with both water resource <br />modeling and water rights experience. Firms interested in being considered should submit an SOQ <br />indicating firm experience in I) developing and applying river basin simulation models in which <br />demands are superimposed on a historic hydrology base, and 2) water rights engineering, expecially <br />the development of administrativc (ools and accounting forms. If a team of several firms or <br />individuals is assembled for a submittal~of a SOQ, the SOQ should clearly define the capability and <br />proposed responsibilties of the firms involved with the team. <br /> <br />The state is interested in obtaining significant (75 % or greater) personal committements of time by <br />individuals to this project. The SOQ should identify the individuals and their related experience who <br />are proposed to be committed to this project. Please include any potential conflicts of inters you may <br />have concerning work with other Colorado River Basin states or water users. <br /> <br />The SOQ submittal should be limited to ten pages (excluding a single page transmittal letter) and <br />six copies of the SOQ should be address to Mr. Ross Bethel, and received at the CWCB office, 13 I 3 <br />Shennan Street, Room 721, Denver, Colorado 80203, no later than 4:00 p.m. on February 27, 1996. <br /> <br />An infonnational meeting on the project background, the consultant selection process, required <br />capabilities of the water resource/water rights consultant, and activities the consultant would be <br />expected to perfonn is planned for February 9,1996,1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in room ??? at 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Denver.
