<br />O".;.,e: <br />Ut._....u <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />December 9, 1993 <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />To: <br />From: <br />Subject: <br /> <br />File <br />Ray R Bennett <br />General Porting Procedures for CRSS to a PC <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />The State of Colorado is interested in porting the current mainframe version of the USBR's Colorado <br /> <br /> <br />River Stream Simulation (CRSS) models to a PC for use in house and as an interim product for the <br /> <br /> <br />Colorado River Decision Support System. CRSS, as it currently exists, consists of four separate programs: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. MHYDRO which prepares the hydrology data for the simulation model, <br /> <br /> <br />. SMDID which prepares the demand data for the simulation model. <br /> <br />. CRSM which performs the simulation, and <br /> <br /> <br />. T APEDIT which prepares output reports from the simulation model results. <br /> <br />This memorandum describes the general procedure used to perform the porting. They were developed to <br /> <br /> <br />assist in tracking every change made during the porting process and allow easy review by other reviewers. <br /> <br />Separate memorandum describe the following: CRSM porting to a PC, MHYDRO Porting to a PC, <br /> <br />SMDID Porting to a PC. and T APEDIT Porting to a Pc. <br /> <br />GENERAL PORTING PROCEDURES <br /> <br />. All porting will be done on a subroutine by subroutine basis. <br /> <br />. All changes will be summarized as comments at the top of each subroutine.
