. Revised the use of Hollirith constants within executable statements to include a
quote as follows:

. Character data types were identified by reviewing I/O formats and if
comparisons. To simplifY these edits and insure they were constant from one
subroutine to the next, all common blocks were removed from the individual
subroutines and named * .com. They are inserted during the compilation using the
INCLUDE statement as follows.

include a consistent number and type (double precision) as follows:

. The random number generator subroutine (RANDEV.FOR) was revised to call
a new subroutine (RANF38.FOR) which reads a data file (SEDMTR) of random
values provided by the USBR Lower Region (April, 1994). This revision allows
the PC version to have the same random numbers as the USBR's CYBER version.
