<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2879 <br /> <br />The quality of water from the Entrada is not known. <br /> <br /> <br />In the Towaoc area, it contributes water to a multiple <br /> <br /> <br />aquifer system in wells supplying domestic water, and <br /> <br /> <br />the water is considered to be of acceptable quality for <br /> <br /> <br />domestic use, at least where mixed with water from the <br /> <br /> <br />overlying aquifer. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Summerville Formation <br /> <br />General chdracteristics.--The Surrunerville Format~on <br />conformably overlies the Entrada Sandstone. The Summerville <br />Formation was named for exposures on Summerville Point <br /> <br /> <br />in the northern part of the San Rafael Swell, Utah, by <br /> <br /> <br />Gilluly and Reeside (1928, p. 80). The Summerville is <br /> <br /> <br />exposed only near the northern reservation boundary, <br /> <br /> <br />where McElmo Creek cuts through the southern part of <br /> <br /> <br />McElmo Dome. <br /> <br />#1 <br />
