Los Angeles abrasion loss: <br /> <br />I) Determine in accordance with ASTM C 13 I using grading A. <br /> <br />2) Ten percent maximum loss of weight at 100 revolutions, or 40 <br />percent maximum loss of weight at 500 revolutions. <br /> <br />c. Sodium sulfate test for soundness <br /> <br />1) Determine in accordance with ASTM C 88, Sodium Sulfate <br />Solution. <br /> <br />2) Twelve percent maximum weighted average loss, by weight, after <br />five cycles. <br /> <br />d. Specific gravity <br /> <br />1) Determine in accordance with ASTM C 127, saturated, surface-dry <br />basis. <br /> <br />2) Minimum: 2.60. <br /> <br />e.
