The allozyme and
mitochondria/ DNA analyses should be completed in 1997.

See description above for bony tail chub.

Currently, only 15 adult humpback chubs from the Black Rocks
area of the Colorado River are being maintained in refuge at
HorsethiefSWA. There is no backup refuge tor this population.
No refugia are being maintained for the Yampa, Desolation-
Gray Canyon, Westwater Canyon, or Cataract Canyon
presumptive stocks.

No progress has been made regarding this activity.

Due to the lack of any reintroduction plan for the humpback
chub, assessment of adequate production facilities has not been
performed. Current facility requirements for the humpback
chub include the pond space necessary to maintain a single
refugia population with no backup.

No progress has been made regarding this activity.

The current broodstock represents only one area of five
presumptive populations within the Upper Basin.

No development of brood stocks is occurring or is planned.

No progress has been made regarding this activity.

No progress has been made regarding this activity,

No progress has been made regarding this activity.

41
