Due to the limited amount of propagation facilities, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Biologists stocked only 282, II to 16-inch razorback suckers into the Gunnison River at Delta, Colorado on October 4, 1996. None were stocked in the Colorado River in 1996. Future stocking of different sizes of juvenile and sub-adult razorback sucker during FY 1997-2000 will determine the relationship between the size stocked and their subsequent survival in the wild (Burdick 1996). 33
