A farmers estimate is that as much as 65%.of the annual delivery <br />in the form of "flushes" to Nebraska is unavailable to Nebraska <br />users. <br /> <br />3. The only alternative that will take advantage of "flush" situations <br />and level the flow of the river, is an on stream storage such as <br />the proposed narrows. <br /> <br />4. ' Basically, "flushes" are of questionable benefit to the actual <br />diversion of water, and historically are in final analysis often <br />a deteriment since the diversions loose even the water they were <br />taking when the "flush" requires they "pull" their diversions. <br />This condition applies to both Lower South Platte users and Nebraska <br />users. <br /> <br />A "flush" varies from 250 ft. for sand dams to 5,000 feet and above for <br />the more major diversions. <br /> <br />Julesburg Reservoir is <br /> <br />1. The only reservoir that has a senior right over: <br /> <br />Pruitt <br />North Sterling <br />Riverside <br />Jackson Second Filling and Subsequent Fillings <br />Bijou <br />Barr Lake <br />Empire <br /> <br />2.
