This has been discussed in the lower basin for
several years and has merit for flU'ther investigation.

Preliminary elevation examinations show that uSinG the present
diversions and raising the dike six feet, the capacity of that
structure could be increased by 26,800 acre feet.

The present reservoir dike needs repair and the top two feet of
storage is not utilized.

The present filling is 26 feet and amounts to 27,500 acre feet.
:Enlargement capacity would be 54,300 acre feet. With it's strategic
location on the river it would be of great benefit to the lower
reaches of the river and would merit furtileI' study.

Sincerely,

.'.'.--.:::Ar;;J
(<.
