Study leadership is indi- <br />cated as (NPS) National Park Service, (FS) Forest Service, (HCRS) <br />Heritage Conservation and Recreation Service, or (BOR) Bureau of <br />Outdoor Recreation. The study function of the Wild and Scenic Rivers <br />Program was transferred within the Department of the Interior to the <br />National Park Service from the Heritage Conservation and Recreation <br />Service, formerly the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation, by Secretarial <br />Order Number 3017, January 25, 1978. All studies indicated as (BOR) <br />were completed by the former Bureau of Outdoor Recreation before the <br />program was transferred to the Park Service. <br /> <br />r.
