o G 2 2 57 50/Friedkin

David Herrera Jordan, who earnestly sought for his country an
amicable solution to the problem, earns speeial recognition.
Certainly, one of the finest experiences of my career as
United States Commissioner of the International Boundary
and Water Commission was working and serving with many of
those people in the United States and with a number of people
in Mexico to resolve the Colorado River salinity problem. I am
grateful for having had that opportunity.

FOOTNOTES

1.
