The plan must give emphasis to the preservation and <br />protection of the areas' scenic, recreati~nal, natural and historic values. <br /> <br />The \Dmmissioner can acquire fee and less~r interests in land by purchase, <br />grant, aift, cJevise, exchange, or lease, Lane use rontrols, applie<4 throuah <br />local ordinances, can be e~loye<4 to preserve and protect the river corridcr. <br />When preservation needs dictate areater limits on shore land develo~ent then ~y <br />be iIlpJsed ley land use centrols, then scenic ea,sements or fee title ~ay be <br />acquired. Campsite accesses, launch areas, trails and other public uses of land <br />can be acquired in fee or by easement. <br /> <br />The extent of land that can be included within a desianate0 river corridor <br />is a maximum of 320 acres for each mile of river.
