Wilhin this cascading menu are twelve options: one for each
SPWRMS water districl and one for the Mainstem. The mainstem of
the South Platte River is defined as being everything downstream
from Amero Reservoir.

Loading

The date of the loaded WIS is based on the ending date of the time
interval specified in Ihe Preferences dialog. To load a Water Informa-
tion Sheet from a differem day than one currenlly displayed on your
screen, click the Clear bUllon althe bottom of the WIS dialog to
erase the current data, specify the Date of the new WIS to be viewed,
and click the Load bUllon to read the new data from the SPWRMS
database. This action will produce a similar effect as changing the
ending dale on the Preferences dialog and selecting Edit / Water
Information Sheet.

Archiving

In order for the changes you make 10 a Waler Information Sheet to be
pennanenlly recorded in the central SPWRMS database, you mUSl
explicilly archive them. To archive changes, click the Commit but-
ton within the Waler Infonnation Sheet dialog.

Each time that a Water Information Sheet is commilled to the data-
base, any previously saved WIS for that day is overwrillen. You may
commit more that one WlS per day, but any previously commilled
changes for that day will be 10s1.

Closing the Dialog

To close the Water Information Sheet dialog, click the Close button.
Close only closes the dialog, and does not automatically archive the
WIS. SGI-SPWRMS will warn you if you close the WlS dialog with-
out committing 10 the database.

The Layout

The top ponion of the Water Information Sheel contains five general
types of columns. These include a Structure Name column, River
Flow columns, Diversion columns, Storage columns, and a Com-
ment column. All WIS data represent values in cubic feet per second
(cfs) except those in the Storage columns which represenl acre feet
(at).

17

7/31/94
