5.2 Edit Calls

The Edit Calls dialog displays Ihe currem calls on the river and provides Ihe
user wilh Ihe ability to sel and release calls at a diversion struclure. This dia-
log is reached via the Edit / Calls menu ilem or through the Waler Infor-
mation Sheel dialog Edit Calls bullon.

To set a river call, identify the calling struClure either from the map or from
the Key Diversion Structures list accessible via the Palette / Show
Lists menu item. The selected structure will appear in the lower half of Ihe
Edit Calls dialog along with tabulated waler righls at that struClure. Selecllhe
calling righl from the list of Available Calls. Next, specify the dale and lime
of the call along with any comment you wish to make regarding the call.
After entering the call information, click on the Set Call bUllon 10 record the
river call imo the SPWRMS database.

In the Edit Calls dialog, river calls are separaled into main stem and tributary
calls (the mainstem of Ihe Sooth Plalle River is defined 10 be all poims down-
stream of Amero Reservoir). To release a call from either Ihe mainstem or
